woo....been a long long time since i blog. i was rather busy with projects, exams, shifting of apartment, sleeping, discussing which country to visit.. etc.
and i realise i get tired and sleepy easily, i think it is because of the cold weather and my cosy big bed... hahaha.. damn happy ever since i move into this new apartment.. :D
anyway.. to have a quick update about my trip to london and barcelona.. it was really really great and fun. But i was kinda up tight when i was in barcelona because the security is quite bad and i feel that its worst than JB. well, maybe i am a tourist that why i have this feeling. it is like sporean going to JB and they feel it is so dangerous blabla... shall eleborate more later.. :

London
23 feb Saturday

Our german frenze, Helen and Silvia arranged to pick us up from our house (Pat and I) at 7pm and then head down to the Frankfurt Hahn Airport. It was really nice of them to offer to fetch us because they are living in another town (Sinheim)which is about half an hr drive from their town to ours. If not we will have to take a train to heidelburg (an hr) and they will pick us up there. Its really more convenient & cheaper to drive than to take public transport to the airport. Because we will have to take a train to heidelburg then change a bus to the airport which might take about 3 hrs plus. Moreover , it is really very troublesome to carry the luggage to take public transport. haha... lucky us.... :D

The other 6 of them went a day earlier than us because they bought tickets to watch a soccer match in St james park at New Castle Stadium. It was New Castle Vs Manchester United. They took the cheapest ticket which cost 40 pounds. its really crazy.. 40 pounds which is 120 sing. =_=" before they booked the tickets, they asked if i wanna watch the match for the experiences and atmosphere. i was like "huh?? are u kidding me?? 40 pounds" well, i am not a hard core soccer fan like them. so u cant blame me for reacting like tt rite?? haha.. i rather spend it on eating... :)

Initially, they tot that st james park is not very far from london.. maybe a few hrs of train ride to reach there. But when they asked the information counter about how to get to St james park, they got a huge shock. Taking a one way train is 100 pounds and bus is 40 pounds. i think they didnt expect it to be so expensive. anyway, everything is expensive in London lah. so they took a 8 hrs bus ride from London airport to St james park which is rather near to the border of scotland. HA! so far lah.... =_=" oh well, guess they had a fun time at the match..

Few photos taken by them.

my afew photos is like 2 only.. haha... i am just too lazy to upload so many of them..
so about me me me... :D
our flight is about 11pm. we arrived at Frankfurt Hahn about 9 plus to check in. dunn mix up Frankfurt Main with Frankfurt Hahn. it is two different airport which is not NEAR at all. previously, Frankfurt hahn was a military air base and now it turn into an airport for budget airline. yep..i took a budget airline which is Ryan Air.

**Patricia & I **Helen & Silvia**Silvia, me & Helen **so after checking in, we went to grap a bite before boarding the plane. and i had this --> yummy**London..here i come...:D

Initially, i feel that its really interesting to take a budget airline. because i have never been on a budget plane and you get to walk on the plane track and take those stairs to board the plane. BUT NOW... after taking the plane to london and from london to barcelona and from barcelona back to frankfurt....i seriously think it is such a hassel to climb up and down.. but well... you get what u paid.. so whats more can i expect. sianz...

Here we are at London airport after a 45 min flight..**Helen and Silvia are really nice and friendly. they are like big sisters taking care of me and pat. Helen is 21 and silvia is 25. they knew each other for about 2 years ever since they studied in BA. **on the way to our hostel from the bus station.**Picture below is London Bridge. Nothing fasinating.. just a normal bridge..

our hostel is at Borough street or its Borough Station if taking the tube. And the next stop is Elephant & Castle which is just further down the street from my hostel. the day before we arrived at london, i search the internet to check where is MOS London. and i knew it was at Elephant & Castle... but i didnt know it is SO near lah... oh my god... hahaha.... and we planned to go on the last night of our trip. if u realise, i said planned... in the end, we didnt make it. cuz there were so many place to visit and we were so exhasted every night. but two of my frenze did go and take a look. oh well... seems that MOS is not really a big thing in London.. =_=" hrmmp.. hope i will be able to go on my next trip.. :D**hrmmp..i shall not tok about my hostel. you can ask me if you want. hahaha...
so after checking in, we went to meet up with the rest of the gang.
racky the area and there we are...

at TOWER BRIDGE

**Behind us is Thames RiverAfter much photo taking, we decided to have a lunch cum dinner meal. its was like 430pm and we havent take our lunch. The rest of them ate already.. so we head on ourselves.**food food......while walking throu this alley, we randomly asked the locals if there are any place to reccomand for us to eat... and as usual, we see pizza.. pasta.. really sianz... finally, a guy who happen to be parking his car, introduced us to a chinese resturant which is behind the alley... the food is really nice. really like spore or msia kinda food.......hahahaha.... yummy.... we took the buffet meal which we think is reasonable and we can have many variaties. there is pineapple rice, honey bake chicken, duck, spring roll, prawn cracker, pork rib, sweet sour pork, fried noodle...etc. i think its about 7 pounds.

if u are converting..its 21 sing for normal food that we eat in spore, i know u will start laughing..wondering why we travel all the way to London and eat that.. oh well, you wouldnt understand till u are physically living oversea and realise that everything is just so expensive that eating bread may also be equally expensive. just keep the comments to yourself k? :) (of course i dunn refer that phara to my folks...haha...)

so mum dad...no worries..i am eating well...sleeping well... hahaha... of course i will spend within my means... :) The night view of Tower Bridge is so beautiful... wahh.... i totally love LONDON.... Picture below is not a postcard neither did i use photoshop...
